Re: The Red Widow
It sounds promising, I have to admit. Here's hoping she's not slacked off in her studies, and has perhaps learned a few tricks that can help make these spiders fall a bit faster.

I have consulted my advisors in the area regarding this matter. An official bounty will be posted regarding the creatures.

Well isn't that handy? You hear that, comrades? We get paid to kill these things. I'm gonna get me a shiny new cleaver.

Re: The Red Widow
If we are going to pursue these spiders, can we at least have a better plan next time?
Otherwise, I honestly may not join you, despite the temptation of loot.

As always I'm in it for the coin
Agreed, now I have a reason to put your lives on the line.....and my own ofcourse. I will do almost anything for coin, as long as it doesn't cross my honor lines. So once V talks to this friend of hers we can begin planning a raid of these pests. Perhaps I can get a potent poison for my daggers this time.
Maturin,
Come to me any time you need a weapons upgrade, I have been taught in the art of black smiths and can make some interesting weaponry.

I am always happy to make a poison or two for someone.
Though, if you lack the knowledge to use it effectively, the blame shall not be lain on me.

Shadow, you say you're good with weapons? I was wondering if you could think of anything I could do to strengthen the steel of my blades.

Re: The Red Widow
Thanks to the Baron, I was able to get in contact with Siobhan...
To my surprise, she was heading in this direction. I'm not entirely sure what she meant, but she said she would be here "before the firefly bullies the holy... or holey black pearl away."
Did I mention she had a few quirks...?

Shadow, my weapons are of Iron. Not the strongest material, Smiths know, but sturdy. Any idea to toughen it up a bit?

Re: The Red Widow
Maturin,
Ofcourse thats an easy matter. I can reforge those iron weapons with steele, increasing their strength.....for a small fee ofcourse. Also, If you'd ever like them enhanced I am sure I know an enchanter or two who can power them up for you with some nifty spells.

I have some smarts of the ruins.
I may be able to color those into your sharps or tell you which ones to use.

Siobhan used to be an enchanter. I guess she still is to some degree... maybe.
She at least has some knowledge of Runes that she could pass along.

Re: The Red Widow
What fee would you charge to strengthen my blades, Shadow? And if the price is too steep, I can always pay in the manner of favors. One favor, free of charge, my only stipulation being that it not kill me outright. As in I'd rather not test poisons, but any enemies you'd like to face but not do so alone, I would accompany you, be it personal vendetta or simply a treasure hunt.
And Siobhan, two small questions. Are there any ruins we could mark into my blades that would let me hit those things that normally cannot be hit, such as ghosts? Or are there any that would let my blades bear a flame?

Re: The Red Widow
My mishap. I cannot color ruins into your sharps, but for shinies and shielding from eighters, I can sow Ruin Glow into ingots. You pretties will have to hunt for a Ruinsmith to color ruins into sharps.
I can glow a sharp to do blaze though. Sharps with cherrier metals are better for this.

Maturin,
Being as you aided me in combat before, your first weapons from me will ( I can't believe I am going to say this) free of charge. However there will come a time when I will require aid in a venture. I would ask that when I do ask of it you will be there.
Siobhan,
Are you saying you are able to enchant weapons? That would be of great use indeed.

Re: The Red Widow
Shadow, I thank you most sincerely. And of course I will offer aid in your venture. You followed me into
the cave with the Red Spider. It would be wrong of me not to aid you in return.
And Siob'han, what would be involved in marking my weapons with the needed ruins?

Re: The Red Widow
I think you misunderstand what Siobhan means, which is not difficult for most to do....
As best I can tell, she cannot put Runes into your weapons, but can use rune magic on ingots.... and enchant them with fire...?
It seems we will need a Runesmith to carve Runes in weapons. Do we know of one?

Re: The Red Widow
.... we could ask the Baron and see if there's one in town. Or maybe the weaponsmith knows of one. Baron, would you happen to know any Runesmiths?
